Women's Health refers to comprehensive women’s health care as well as health issues that are unique to women, including:

  • Menopause
  • Conditions of the Female Organs
Be sure to get early and regular prenatal care to ensure you have a healthy pregnancy. You should also get recommended breast cancer, cervical cancer, and bone density screenings.

We provide the following Women’s Health services at the Ft. Drum OB/GYN Clinic located at Samaritan Medical Center

  • High and Low Risk Prenatal Care with Delivery at Samaritan Medical Center

  • CenteringPregnancy Program

  • Postpartum Care

  • Well Women Exams and PAP Smear Screening

  • Preconception Counseling

  • STI Testing

  • Contraceptive Counseling and Care

  • Initial Infertility Evaluation

  • Menopausal Care and HRT

  • Evaluation of Gynecological Disorders

  • Gynecological Surgical Services

How to Make an Appointment

The Fort Drum OB/GYN is a referral based only clinic and patients need to discuss their concerns with Primary Care Manager prior to referral being placed. Call (315-785-4624) to make an appointment for Women's Health and Pregnancy Services.

TRICARE Covered Services

TRICARE covers well-woman exams annually for women under age 65 with no cost-share or copayment. TRICARE offers coverage for many women’s health services, including:
